Orion's first foods

This little girl has now eaten rice cereal, peas, and butternut squash. Out of the three her favorite by far (that she actually completely finishes) is butternut squash. I decided to roast the squash this time instead of steaming so that while cooking the sweetness would be brought out in full force. I really do try to make her food because not only is it cheaper and I know exactly what is in her food but I also take pride in being able to do that for her. I want her to have the best and it also to be full of mama's love!!

 "oooo...this is not that bad."

"that was fairly nummers. Thank you, daddy. <3"

I am excited about her trying other foods. I am wondering what I should have her try next and it is probably going to be avocado because that is so easy to eat. I want her to try sweeter foods, as in fruits, but I don't want her to just prefer those or reject all other foods. I think her first fruit will be bananas because of convenience and effort.

I can't wait to use this awesome invention known as the Squirt spoon.

Amy fed Calvin with this spoon on the way to Boston and I quickly became a believer in the need to have this spoon!

Shout out "thank yous" to the Williamsons for the awesome spoon and the Barriers for her awesome outer space bib.
